The proud and elegant Rolex W has excelled in all four positions of his driving team, and is currently in the left lead position with his partner Grumus. Rolex learned much of his driving skills from driver Chester Weber, and together with Weber and his team, Rolex has dominated nationally and internationally, demonstrated by his undefeated winning streak in the dressage phase of combined driving since May of 2006. The streak includes wins in dressage at the World Championships in 2006 and 2008 and in the prestigious German International Driving Derby in 2004 and 2008, added to his seven consecutive US Championships. Rolex W's tail hair has been generously donated by Live Oak Combined Driving, Inc. in Ocala, Florida.

Growing up in Muncie, Indiana, Alexa King was influenced by her mother's artistic talents and reinforced by her father's skill in crafting structures. When her family moved to southern Indiana, she connected immediately with the vast panorama of the natural world around her, and developed her keen observation of nature as well as a love for the horse as both theme and impact on her life. While studying studio art as a painting major at Ball State University in Muncie, Alexa discovered the power of three dimensional forms in a life modeling class, and immediately moved from clay to the classic medium of bronze. Within three months of her first casting, she had her first one woman show at the Morris Douglas Fine Arts and Phippen-Brien Gallery in Scottsdale, Arizona. That first One Woman Show resulted in a prestigious commission to portray in a series the "Pony Express" for the Nelson Rockefeller Collections, New York City. Since that early commission, her career has skyrocketed. Her works have been auctioned at Sotheby's Important Sporting Art sale in 2001, and recently auctioned at Christie's in London. Corporate commissions include her selection by the Ford Motor Company's Presidential Awards as well as CD case designs for Aerosmith and Warren Zevon. She has done awards and trophies for the Arena Football League, the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, and the USEF Horse of the Year Award trophy. In 2008, Alexa was selected to create the bronze memorial to Barbaro depicting his winning the Kentucky Derby, and installed at Churchill Downs in April of 2009.
Fifty-two artists from around the country have been chosen and each given small replicas of a violin and bow. Each artist has been assigned an unforgettable, beloved horse and has created a work of art. Artists have worked with paint, glass, metal, and other mediums. Their only charge was to embrace either the image or spirit of their horse. Horses include well-known Thoroughbreds, as well as other breeds represented in the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™.
Each piece will be on display at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games™. During the Games, a silent auction will take place, with all proceeds go to the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra’s Partners in Education, a program benefiting the children in high-risk areas of Kentucky through music education.
